{"id":29237,"date":"2024-06-07T09:17:04","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T09:17:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/?p=29237"},"modified":"2024-06-07T09:17:05","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T09:17:05","slug":"blind-guardian-song-the-quest-for-tanelorn-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/en\/blind-guardian-song-the-quest-for-tanelorn-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Blind Guardian releases an updated version of the song \u00abThe Quest For Tanelorn\u00bb from upcoming album \u00abSomewhere Far Beyond Revisited\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Germans <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/en\/blind-guardian-follow-the-blind-1989\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"29012\">Blind Guardian<\/a><\/strong>, a key band in the development of power metal throughout history, have recently released an updated version of their classic <strong><em>The Quest For Tanelorn<\/em><\/strong> that has the term \u00ab<em>Revisited<\/em>\u00bb added to its title, which implies that the quintet from Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia has once again covered this iconic song originally released on their fourth studio album <strong><em>Somewhere Far Beyond<\/em><\/strong> (Virgin Records) in 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can listen to <strong><em>The Quest For Tanelorn (Revisited) <\/em><\/strong>below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"The Quest for Tanelorn (Revisited)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8ODAq42WUS8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>The Quest For Tanelorn<\/em><\/strong> is the first preview of the updated version that the bards have made of their iconic album <strong><em>Somewhere Far Beyond<\/em><\/strong>, which in August 2024 will be released in physical format, including the same list of songs that make up their fourth album, covered with the current lineup. with the only difference that <strong><em>Somewhere Far Beyond Revisited<\/em><\/strong> features drummer <strong>Frederik Ehmke<\/strong> who has been in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/blindguardian\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blind Guardian<\/a><\/strong> since 2005 while the original album included his former drummer <strong>Thomen <em>The Omen<\/em> Stauch <\/strong>(Mentalist, ex-Coldseed, ex-Savage Circus).
