A perfect mix between punk and rock, this electrifying 10 track studio recorded release pays homage to the old punk and rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll legends while at the same time embracing the new. Upploppet injects a vibrant and youthful energy into their performance resulting in a release that&#8217;s equal parts fresh and vintage sounding. Mastered by <strong>Hans Olsson Brookes<\/strong> (Bombus, Spiders, Graveyard, Blues Pills) in <strong>Svenska Grammofonstudion<\/strong>. <strong><em>Road Runner<\/em><\/strong> is released by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thesignrecords.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Sign Records<\/a><\/strong> on vinyl and digital formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Upploppet <\/strong>is the latest addition to the scandirock Mount Rushmore, with influences hailing from titans such as <strong>Gluecifer<\/strong>, <strong>MC5<\/strong>, <strong>Union Carbide Productions<\/strong> and many more. This just goes to show you that this five-piece stomps all over rock&#8217;n&#8217;roll history with their own twist. The music represents the dangerous side of rock. With no prisoners being held, a raw attitude and a live show like no other, <strong>Upploppet <\/strong>is pulling the torch from the fists of the old geezer&#8217;s that once held it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The band has already gone through the DIY process of recording several EPs in their rehearsal space on the outskirts of Hogsbo, Gothenburg. Their 2022 self-release <strong><em>You Wish This Was Live<\/em><\/strong> (mixed at Sunlight Studios by Tomas Skogsberg) sent them right into their local rock scene. The band had already visited the outskirts of Europe before having released a full-length LP. Now they&#8217;re planning their next step in taking over planet Earth. <strong>The Sign Records<\/strong> felt the noise of the group while other oblivious labels stayed in the dark and took them under their wings. With their debut studio album <strong><em>Road Runner<\/em><\/strong>, recorded in <strong>Welfare Studios <\/strong>and released by <strong>The Sign Records<\/strong>, the band shows once again that they are evolving by getting better, faster and stronger as a unit.
