The up-and-coming unit released their highly acclaimed debut album, <strong><em>Hey Living People<\/em><\/strong>, at the end of 2023, entering the Official German Album Charts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dominum <\/strong>finished 2023 strong with a tour with <strong>Die Apokalyptischen Reiter<\/strong> and <strong>Equilibrium<\/strong>, and is currently supporting <strong>Peyton Parrish<\/strong> on his already partially sold-out <strong>European <\/strong>tour. This spring, the band will also join Feuerschwanz and <strong>Orden Ogan<\/strong> on another fast-selling tour. Let&#8217;s wait and see!<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hottest rising power metal band in recent years, <strong>Dominum<\/strong>, released their debut album <strong><em>Hey Living People<\/em><\/strong>, on December 29, 2023 via <strong>Napalm Records<\/strong>. Led by songwriter and producer <strong>Felix Heldt<\/strong> (Feuerschwanz, Visions Of Atlantis and more) on vocals in the character of <strong>Dr. Dead<\/strong>, the band takes the living into the world of the undead &#8211; telling stories of zombies, survival and insatiable hunger for more, creating their own intense and captivating reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fantastic storytelling, genius songwriting and a high level of musicianship are the core of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/realdominum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dominum<\/a><\/strong>, which is evident on their 13-track first offering that combines the energy of metal with the drama and narration of horror movies. Opening track <strong><em>Immortalis Dominum<\/em><\/strong> sets the scene with an eerie intro that builds into a flamboyant chorus. Featuring sharp solos and singalong choruses on tracks like <strong><em>Cannibal Corpses<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Better Shoot Yourself<\/em><\/strong> and playful lyrics on songs like <strong><em>We All Taste The Same<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Hey Living People<\/em><\/strong> is sure to entertain. On top of their original songs, <strong>Dominum <\/strong>also serves epic \u00ab<em>zombie metal versions<\/em>\u00bb of three well-known tracks: legendary mid-80s hit <strong><em>You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)<\/em><\/strong> originally by <strong>Dead Or Alive<\/strong>, <strong>Billie Eilish<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong><em>Bad Guy<\/em><\/strong> and Australian rock band <strong>Midnight Oil<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong><em>Beds Are Burning<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Hey Living People<\/strong><\/em> is produced by bandleader and main songwriter <strong>Felix Heldt<\/strong> and recorded in collaboration with <strong>Jacob Hansen<\/strong> (Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Delain, Evergrey among other significant metal bands), who also mixed and mastered the album. <strong>Dominum <\/strong>has already been booked for many big festivals for summer 2024 without even having released a single song.
