Best known for being the lead guitarist of <strong>Blues Pills<\/strong> for 6 years, <strong>Dorian <\/strong>has toured extensively all around Europe and Australia with Blue Pills playing some of the biggest European Festivals like <strong>Rock Am Ring<\/strong>, <strong>Hellfest<\/strong>, <strong>Download<\/strong>, <strong>Rock Werchter<\/strong>, <strong>Wacken<\/strong>, <strong>Roskilde<\/strong>, <strong>Sweden Rock<\/strong>, and opening for bands such as <strong>Deep Purple<\/strong>, <strong>John Fogerty<\/strong>, <strong>Rival Sons<\/strong>, and <strong>Europe<\/strong>. He released several EP&#8217;s, two studio albums and two live albums before leaving the band in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of 2023, <strong>Dorian <\/strong>shared <strong><em>I Believe That You Can Change<\/em><\/strong>; the first single and music video from his upcoming album <strong><em>Children Of The Moon<\/em><\/strong>. Now, on the 2nd of February, the French artist returns with the second single from the album, <strong><em>Sunken Ship<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Listen to Sunken Ship below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border-radius:12px\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/5QZbWEewRvMUJLbXP7BZ6q?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dorian <\/strong>comments: \u00ab<em>Sunken Ship is the only actual love song on the album, it is about losing someone but from the perspective of reflecting on it years down the line. It\u00b4s a heartbreak song about unconditional love and is also about accepting the reality that you\u00b4re facing. The song has two parts which were both written over a year apart but with that same feeling and I felt like the instrumental outro tied the story of the song together. As I was mixing the album I decided to go back to the studio and record this song so it has a different feeling than the rest of the album, it\u00b4s one of the most intimate and personal songs on the record<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many young players look to the guitar heroes of the 60s and 70s for inspiration, but very few are able to channel their influences as mesmerizingly as <strong>Dorian Sorriaux<\/strong>. When the young French guitarist burst onto the scene with rockers <strong>Blues Pills<\/strong>, he displayed an incredible maturity and expressiveness as a musician that was captured on their 2014 self-titled debut. Comparisons with legendary bluesmen <strong>Peter Green<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Kossoff<\/strong> weren&#8217;t hyperbole; you could hear their quality in <strong>Dorian<\/strong>&#8216;s playing touch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the success of <strong>Blues Pills<\/strong>&#8216; second album <strong><em>Lady In Gold<\/em><\/strong> (2016), <strong>Dorian Sorriaux<\/strong> revealed surprising new depths to his talent as a singer \/ songwriter with his debut solo EP <strong><em>Hungry Ghost<\/em><\/strong>. The EP received wonderful reviews and allowed <strong>Dorian <\/strong>to tour all over Europe as a solo act opening for <strong>Myles Kennedy<\/strong>.
