{"id":28190,"date":"2024-02-01T08:33:30","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T08:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/?p=28190"},"modified":"2024-03-06T11:04:29","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T11:04:29","slug":"midnight-announces-hellish-expectations-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/en\/midnight-announces-hellish-expectations-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Midnight announces their new album \u00abHellish Expectations\u00bb to be released in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cleveland (Ohio)-based black&#8217;n&#8217;roll project <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/alliedforces.eu\/en\/let-there-be-witchery-de-midnight-2022-metal-blade-records\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"895\">Midnight<\/a> <\/strong>led by prolific multi-instrumentalist <strong>Athenar <\/strong>has recently announced that the band&#8217;s sixth studio album <strong><em>Hellish Expectations<\/em><\/strong> will be released on March 8, 2024 through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalblade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metal Blade Records<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first single from <strong><em>Hellish Expectations<\/em><\/strong> is <strong><em>F.O.A.L.<\/em><\/strong> whose video you can find below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Midnight - F.O.A.L. (Official Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LeCAZz3Rhss?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Athenar <\/strong>has commented about this new single: \u00ab<em>Fuck Off And Live\u2019 is an ode to the people who peacefully want to die to escape the realities of life, while they should really live and suffer<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab<em>It\u2019s a knuckle dragger with a fat cutoff,\u201d elaborates Athenar, \u201cPure testosterone meat. Probably the most concise and straight to the point MIDNIGHT album to date, and all written in a weekend. The album was written on pure reaction upon leaving the studio after listening to raw tracks from the previous album Let There Be Witchery.
