Featured on the Gothenburg based 5 piece&#8217;s upcoming debut album <strong><em>Road Runner<\/em><\/strong>, the single is an intense and explosive punk &#8216;n&#8217; roll track produced by <strong>Per St\u00e5lberg<\/strong> (Division of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse) and <strong>Pontus Robertsson<\/strong>. We wanna induce people to do what they want and don&#8217;t let anything hinder them. Take a leap of faith no matter how big the leap is. It is at least better than wondering how it would&#8217;ve end up. We believe that everyone has been in that situation where you would sit and wonder how life would turn out if you made a choice you normally wouldn&#8217;t do. This song is fast, and a homage to old school rock n roll! You&#8217;ll have to guess what our influences comes from!<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Upploppet <\/strong>(The Riot) is the latest face on Scandirock&#8217;s Mount Rushmore and that&#8217;s not a bad sign. With the rock scene&#8217;s best mustaches, fast riffs and a floor-to-the-floor live show, they pay tribute to their predecessors in <strong>MC5<\/strong>, <strong>Union Carbide Productions<\/strong>, <strong>Gluecifer <\/strong>and many more influential early retirees in the only way a local band with some air under their wings can\u2026 By playing even faster, even higher and doing it for a fraction of the price, free bar and your pal&#8217;s couch to stop over before they move on to the next city, the next place, the next girl\u2026 You get where this is going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite their amazingly modest success and packed schedule, the Gothenburg quintet have yet to make their album debut or be booked as the opening act for <strong>Foo Fighters<\/strong>&#8216; next arena tour. But fear not those of you who read the above rant for a wet night on Hamburg&#8217;s most pub-packed street, the Reeperbahn, heard the jungle roar of the eminent <strong>The Sign Records Riot<\/strong> and acted when no one else dared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two border controls, various paperwork and an overloaded family bus later, <strong>Uploppet <\/strong>entered the fabled <strong>Welfare Studios<\/strong> to, on a tight budget, record their masterpiece, the &#8216;<em>magnus opel<\/em>&#8216; of their discography.
