Washing Machina<\/strong> was formed in Stockholm, Sweden during the spring of 2021, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The creative spark ignited when Mark<\/strong>, Karl<\/strong>, and Sara <\/strong>began exchanging musical ideas. Emelie <\/strong>was recruited on drums, completing the puzzle and solidifying the band’s unique sound. Inspired by bands like Foo Fighters<\/strong>, Sonic Youth<\/strong>, Breeders<\/strong>, Smashing Pumpkins<\/strong>, Pavement<\/strong>, and Dinosaur Jr<\/strong>, their music weaves together strong pop melodies with avant-garde guitar playing, boldly venturing into unexplored sonic territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have already made an unforgettable mark on the Swedish music scene through a series of successful shows. Recently, the band achieved a milestone by performing at a sold-out Heaven Up Here<\/a><\/strong>, an iconic indie rock club in Stockholm. The band’s musical journey so far includes the release of two EPs: Perfect Misfits<\/em><\/strong> and Last Bag Of The Belt<\/em><\/strong>. Building on this momentum, their highly anticipated debut album The Spontaneous Splendid<\/em><\/strong> is planned for release through L\u00f6vely Records<\/strong> in March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
