Behind it all we find a bittersweet blend of catchy, punky, fuzzy power pop and &#8217;90s inspired alternative rock. Small town dreams expressed through noisy guitars, sugar sweet melodies, and honest, straightforward lyrics. <strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> sounds like <strong>H\u00fcsker D\u00fc<\/strong> mixed with <strong>The Flamin&#8217; Groovies<\/strong>, <strong>Ramones <\/strong>mixed with <strong>Big Star<\/strong> or even <strong>The Hellacopters<\/strong> mixed with <strong>Dinosaur Jr. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hailing from the rural parts of Sweden, the members of <strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> have played in bands such as <strong>The Deadbeats<\/strong>, <strong>Disfear<\/strong>, <strong>Dollhouse<\/strong>, <strong>Year Of The Goat<\/strong>, <strong>Tortyr<\/strong>, and <strong>The Dontcares<\/strong>. Together they find a perfect blend of musical history. Swedish alternative rock outfit <strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> are set to release their new EP Split Image in March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EP will be included on the 4 way vinyl split <strong>Honor Roll Of Hits<\/strong> featuring <strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> as well as three other bands affiliated with <strong>L\u00f6vely Records<\/strong>; <strong>Statues<\/strong>, <strong>GASP<\/strong>, and <strong>First In Line<\/strong>. <strong><em>Move On<\/em><\/strong> is the second and final single from <strong><em>Split Image<\/em><\/strong>, listen to it below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Move On\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KwpaGfZtJ3E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> released the debut, 7 track mini-album <strong><em>Acid Rain<\/em><\/strong> in 2021 which immediately received praise from both fans and media. Classic Rock Magazine called the album \u00ab<em>a brutal, scintillating mush of frill-free Scandinavian power-pop aggression that calls to mind H\u00fcsker D\u00fc at their most angst-driven and impatient<\/em>\u00ab, and the track <strong><em>My Heart Is Big And Broken<\/em><\/strong> was dubbed the <strong><em>Coolest Song In The World<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; by <strong>Little Steven<\/strong> (Bruce Springsteen &amp; The E Street Band) on his show <strong>The Underground Garage<\/strong>. <strong><em>Acid Rain<\/em><\/strong> was later nominated for best punk record of the year at the Swedish indie awards <strong>Manifestgalan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the pandemic working against them, <strong>Sweet Teeth<\/strong> has during their relatively short career played several explosive live shows, sharing stages with bands such as <strong>Millencolin<\/strong>, <strong>Hurula<\/strong>, <strong>Freedom<\/strong>, and <strong>M\u00e4rvel<\/strong>.
